    Every material, every job and the VAT on separate lines. What is written is what gets done; any change is requested and approved by you, in writing too.

    The dates for each stage are in the contract. If anything changes, you know why and what the new date is before it happens.

Many owners on the island live in London, Lisbon or Berlin. We run the project so you can make decisions without being here: everything is photographed, explained and recorded.

What you need to know before going ahead.

What kind of work do you take on?
New houses and extensions, full renovations of houses and apartments, restoration of old buildings and roofs. Electrics, plumbing, air conditioning, finishes and windows are part of those projects and are coordinated by one person.
Do you do small repairs?
Only within the projects we are already running. We do not take on one-off repairs, so that every build gets the attention it needs.
How is the quote put together?
After the visit, we deliver a written quote with every material, every job and the VAT itemised, together with the schedule. What is written is what gets done; any change is requested and approved by you.
Is there a charge for the site visit?
Yes. It costs between €35 and €50, depending on where the property is, and covers the surveyor's travel and a detailed, itemised quote that you can use for a mortgage or an insurance claim. The quote is yours to keep, whether or not you go ahead.
I don't live in Madeira. How do I follow the build?
You receive photos and video of every stage, we arrange progress updates by video call and every decision is recorded in writing. You can follow the whole project without travelling.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the project. The schedule for each stage is in the quote and in the contract, and at every stage you know exactly where things stand.
What guarantee does the work have?
The build is handed over with a signed handover report and carries the guarantee provided by Portuguese law. If something is not as agreed, we put it right.
Why the name PRECISÃO100MEDO?
In Portuguese, «100» (cem) sounds like «sem», without: «precisão sem medo» means precision without fear. Measure carefully before building, and commit in writing to what is agreed.
